The Hudson Valley women's basketball team (5-6) defeated Clinton County Community College, 47-41 on Thursday, Jan. 7 in Plattsburgh. The Women had a 12 point lead and nearly let it slip away in the final minutes but were able to hold on for the win.
The Lady Vikings were led by Paige Colfer (Watervliet, Menands) and Alex Brazill (Waterford Halfmoon, Waterford) with 13 points each. Colfer also added 10 rebounds.
The women will be participating in the New Hampshire Institute of Technology Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 9 and 10.
