The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball team (16-8) has been given the eighth seed in the Region III Tournament after finishing fourth in the Region III standings. The Lady Vikings will take on number-one-seeded Onondaga Community College (30-0) on Friday, Feb. 26 at Cayuga Community College. Onondaga is currently the number-one-ranked team in the NJCAA Women's Basketball Poll.
Region III Tournament Bracket:
Friday, Feb. 26
#4 Broome vs. #5 Tompkins-Cortland at 1 p.m.
#1 Onondaga vs. #8 Hudson Valley at 3 p.m.
Winners of above bracket will play at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27

#3 Cayuga vs. #6 FLCC at 6 p.m.
#2 Mohawk Valley vs. #7 Herkimer at 8 p.m.
