Hudson Valley Community College has announced its February Athletes of the Month, recognizing senior Jennifer Doty (women's bowling) and Logan Norman (baseball) for their outstanding accomplishments and leadership.
Senior Jennifer Doty continues to cement her legacy as one of the most accomplished bowlers in program history. Doty was recently named Conference Player of the Year and Region Player of the Year following a dominant season on the lanes for the Vikings.
Doty helped lead the women's bowling team to an undefeated season, guiding the Vikings through conference and regional competition without a loss. Her consistency, focus, and competitive edge have been key factors in the team's success as they now prepare to compete at Nationals this week.
As a senior leader, Doty has set the tone both on and off the lanes, mentoring her teammates while representing Hudson Valley with pride. Her achievements this season reflect not only individual excellence but also her impact on a historic year for the program.
Logan Norman earns February Athlete of the Month honors as he enters the spring season as captain for the Vikings. Norman brings an impressive résumé, having earned All-Region Third Team honors, All-Region Glove Team recognition, and All-Conference First Team honors last season.
A standout both offensively and defensively, Norman's leadership and experience are vital to the Vikings' success this year. His defensive excellence and consistent production at the plate have made him one of the top returning players in the region. As captain, Norman continues to set the standard through his work ethic, preparation, and commitment to team success.
Hudson Valley proudly recognizes Jennifer Doty and Logan Norman for their exceptional performances and leadership, and congratulates them on being named February Athletes of the Month.
