The Vikings were handed a 87–62 defeat by Tompkins Cortland. The Panthers jumped out to a dominant first half, leading 45–26 at the break, and maintained control in the second half, outscoring Hudson Valley 42–36.
Leading the Vikings in scoring was Jacob Baccaro with 15 points (4-10 FG, 7-8 FT), 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Julius Reed added 12 points while hauling in 7 rebounds. Kemontae Thawe scored 10 points.
Back on their home court, the Vikings responded with an 88–85 victory over SUNY Broome. Hudson Valley led 42–34 at halftime, held off a Hornets' charge in the second half, and closed it out with a three-point margin.
Standout performances included Kemontae Thawe, who scored 20 points on 8-11 shooting (including 4-6 from three) and added 5 rebounds. Julius Reed notched 17 points, 12 boards and 5 steals, while Fabian Wheatley also contributed 17 points with timely plays.
Hudson Valley returns to action on Wednesday, November 19th at home against Clinton at 6pm.
