Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball came up short on the road Tuesday night, falling 82–95 to Rockland Community College. The loss moves the Vikings to 4–8 on the season.
Hudson Valley battled throughout the contest, keeping pace with the Hawks' high-tempo offense, but Rockland pulled away in the second half with a series of key runs the Vikings couldn't counter. Despite the setback, Hudson Valley showed strong individual efforts and moments of momentum that will carry into the second half of the season.
The Vikings now head into their winter break before returning to action in the new year. Hudson Valley will be back on the court on January 8th when they travel to SUNY Ulster for a 7 p.m. matchup.
