Men’s Basketball Picks Up Road Win at Clinton, 82–77

The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team picked up an 82–77 road victory over Clinton Community College on Monday night, improving to 6–8 on the season.
The Vikings set the tone early, taking a 43–33 lead into halftime after a strong first-half performance. Clinton made a push in the second half, outscoring Hudson Valley 44–39, but the Vikings were able to hold on down the stretch to secure the win.
Julius Reed led all scorers with 33 points, providing a steady offensive presence throughout the game. Kemontae Thawe added 19 points, while Ian Fisher-Layton contributed 11 points. Marcus Steele chipped in seven points off the bench, and the Vikings received additional scoring from Jose Munoz-Pastrana (4), Jacob Baccaro (6), and Anthony McCray (2).
Hudson Valley will return home on Wednesday, January 14, when the Vikings host North Country Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
