Jordan Earns All-American Honors as Vikings Finish Eighth at NJCAA National Championship

The Hudson Valley Community College men's golf team concluded its season on Friday with an eighth-place finish at the 2026 NJCAA National Championship at Chautauqua Golf Club.
The Vikings recorded their best team round since the opening day, posting a 318 (+30) in the final round to finish the four-day championship at 1,289 (+137). Hudson Valley climbed one spot in the standings on the final day to secure an eighth-place national finish against the country's top NJCAA Division III programs.
Stephen Jordan capped off an outstanding tournament with his best round of the week, firing a one-over-par 73 on Friday. Jordan carded birdies on the par-3 seventh and par-4 eighth holes while recording 11 pars during the round. His four-round total of 304 (+16) earned him a tie for 16th place nationally and secured NJCAA Division III All-American honors.
Tommy Wall also closed the championship with a strong performance, shooting a 75 (+3) in the final round. Wall recorded 10 pars and finished tied for 34th overall with a tournament score of 320 (+32).
Logan Gilbo posted an 83 (+11) on Friday to finish tied for 60th place at 343 (+55). Gilbo highlighted his round with a birdie on the par-3 sixth hole.
Nick Walsh carded an 87 (+15) in the final round and finished tied for 53rd overall at 337 (+49). Will Jennings matched Walsh's final-round score with an 87 (+15) and concluded the championship tied for 63rd place at 344 (+56).
The national championship appearance capped a memorable season for the Vikings, who captured the Mountain Valley Conference Championship, finished as Region 3 runners-up, and earned a berth to the national tournament. Hudson Valley's eighth-place finish marks another significant accomplishment for a program that established itself among the top NJCAA Division III teams in the nation throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
Led by Jordan's All-American performance, the Vikings closed the season with a top-10 national finish and continued the program's tradition of excellence on the national stage.
