Men's Soccer Earns 2 All-Mountain Valley Conference Honors
Two members of the Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer team have been recognized by the Mountain Valley Conference for their outstanding play during the 2025 season. Sophomore forward Camryn Curet earned First Team All-Conference honors, while sophomore forward Joseph Davis was named to the Second Team All-Conference.
Curet, a sophomore from Albany and graduate of Colonie Central High School, was one of the most dangerous offensive players in the conference. He appeared in 15 games (14 starts) and led the Vikings with 16 goals and 4 assists, totaling 36 points on the season. In conference play, Curet added 5 goals and 1 assist for 11 points, while converting all three of his penalty kick attempts. He also netted two game-winning goals, anchoring Hudson Valley's attack with his speed, vision, and ability to finish in crucial moments.
Davis, a sophomore from Freehold and Greenville High School, joined Curet on the conference honor roll after an equally impressive campaign. Starting 14 of 15 games, Davis recorded 13 goals and 26 points, including 6 goals in Mountain Valley Conference competition. His .481 shooting percentage ranked among the team's best, highlighting his precision and efficiency in front of goal. A consistent scoring presence all season, Davis provided the Vikings with another dynamic option in the attack.
Together, Curet and Davis formed one of the most productive forward duos in the region, combining for 29 goals and 62 points on the year while helping lead Hudson Valley through a competitive conference slate.
