Men’s Cross Country Places Third at Fred Pavlich Invitational
The Hudson Valley Community College men's cross country team delivered a strong performance at the Fred Pavlich Invitational, placing third overall in the 8K race with a team score of 88 points. The Vikings posted a total time of 2:48:37 among their top five finishers, averaging 33:43 per runner.
Freshman Alan Arnold paced Hudson Valley with an outstanding run, finishing first overall in a time of 27:58.6, marking a sub-28 performance that led the field from start to finish. He was followed by Michael Kleinman, who secured a top-10 finish in 29:53.8, and David Rambharose, who crossed the line in 30:59.2 to take 12th place. Rounding out the scoring were Yaseen Osmani (34:45.6) and Gavin Vautrin (44:59.9).
The Vikings showed strong early splits and competitive pack running through the middle stages of the race, securing their spot inside the top three teams. With Arnold's individual title and consistent support throughout the lineup, Hudson Valley continues to build momentum heading deeper into the season.
