The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball team (4-4) defeated Jefferson County Community College, 60-41, on Saturday, Dec. 5. The Lady Vikings were led in scoring by Sarah Carciobolo (Colonie, Colonie) with 17 points. Alex Brazill (Waterford Halfmoon, Waterford) chipped in 13 points. Paige Colfer (Watervliet, Menands) had another monster day on the glass, pulling down 21 rebounds. She also added 12 points.
The women will play host to nationally-ranked Mohawk Community College on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m.
