The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball team (4-5) was defeated by the Mohawk Valley Community College, 72-32, on Thursday, Dec. 10. Mohawk Valley is ranked sixth nationally in the NJCAA Div. III poll.
Paige Colfer (Watervliet, Menands) recorded a team-high eight points and seven rebounds. Stephanie Frederick (Greenville, Poughkeepsie) added seven points.
The women will travel to take on Broome Community College on Saturday, Dec. 12.
