The Hudson Valley women's basketball team defeated Corning for the Coaches vs Cancer game at home on Saturday.
The Vikings were led by Myanna Faraj with 17 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals and Leah Pergola with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Stylianna Mantzouris and Gracemary Baumann each had 11 points for the Vikings. Mantzouris also tallied 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 1 block. Baumann also had 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.
The Vikings return home Sunday, February 2nd as they face Genesee. The game will start at 12pm followed by the men's game at 2pm.
