Hudson Valley Community College Women's Basketball dropped a road contest to Fulton-Montgomery Community College on February 11, falling 71-46. The loss moves the Vikings to 9-10 on the season.
The Vikings opened the game competing hard, scoring 15 points in the first quarter, but a strong second quarter by Fulton-Montgomery created separation heading into halftime. The Raiders outscored Hudson Valley 21-4 in the second frame and maintained control through the second half.
Alessia Salierno and Gracemary Baumann each led the way with nine points. Sanaiya Adams contributed eight points, while Samantha Graham added seven points, including five made free throws. Lila Christensen chipped in six points, and Morgan Hayden and Piper O'Hare combined for seven points off the bench.
The Vikings will look to regroup as they return home on Wednesday, February 18, when they host Mohawk Valley Community College. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m.
