Men's Basketball Rallies Past Fulton-Montgomery on the Road

Hudson Valley Community College Men's Basketball earned a hard-fought road victory over Fulton-Montgomery Community College on February 11, defeating the Raiders 97-89. The win moves the Vikings to 9-15 on the season.
After trailing 53-42 at halftime, Hudson Valley responded with a dominant second half, outscoring Fulton-Montgomery 55-36 over the final 20 minutes to complete the comeback.
Kemontae Thawe led all scorers with 25 points, knocking down three shots from beyond the arc and going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Fabian Wheatley provided a big spark off the bench with 18 points, while Julius Reed added 17 points, including two three-pointers. Ian Fisher-Layton chipped in 13 points, and Jacob Baccaro contributed nine points. Marcus Steele added eight points off the bench in the win.
The Vikings will look to build on the momentum as they return home on Wednesday, February 18, to host Mohawk Valley Community College. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
