The Hudson Valley Community College women's soccer team (1-3-1) lost a heartbreaker to Herkimer County Community College (3-2-1) 3-2 on Saturday afternoon. The teams were tied at two late in the game when the Generals scored with 35 seconds remaining to take a 3-2 lead.
Shana Barry (Ichabod Crane/Nassau) and Karley Nichols (Red Hook/Red Hook) both scored for the Vikings in the loss.
The women host Onondaga Community College on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m.
