Cross Country Earns Strong Second-Place Finishes at Bruce Bridgeman Invitational

The Hudson Valley Community College men's and women's cross country teams turned in impressive performances at the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational, with both squads placing second overall in team competition.
In the women's 5k, the Vikings were led by Brianna Doria, who clocked a 23:00 to pace the team and finish as HVCC's top runner. Athena Seabold followed close behind at 23:31, while Paulina Ostrander crossed in 25:31. Rounding out the scoring pack, Alana Dickson (26:53) and Talia Moore (27:31) secured valuable points. Emily Wilson (28:08) and Rebecca Church (29:15) provided depth to the Vikings' lineup in a well-balanced team effort.
On the men's side, the Vikings also claimed a runner-up finish in the 8k race. Alan Arnold led the charge with a strong 30:53 performance, followed by David Rambharose (32:01) and Michael Kleinman (32:10), who ran nearly stride-for-stride to secure critical points for Hudson Valley. Yassen Osmani (38:10) and Kaleb Pettit (42:07) rounded out the top five for the Vikings, while Alex Goodrich (44:56), Gavin Vautrin (44:57), and Judens Rhau (54:44) added depth to the men's efforts.
With both teams earning second-place finishes, the Vikings continue to build momentum early in the season, demonstrating strong depth and consistency across the roster.
