Hudson Valley Women's Cross Country Takes Fourth at SUNY Poly Wildcat Invitational
Utica, N.Y. – The Hudson Valley Community College women's cross country team delivered a strong performance today at the SUNY Poly Wildcat Invitational, finishing fourth in a competitive field.
Senior Brianna Doria led the Vikings with a standout effort, crossing the finish line in 17th place with a time of 27:43. Her performance anchored the team's scoring and reflected her experience under pressure.
Supporting Doria were several underclassmen who posted solid efforts, contributing to Hudson Valley's team depth. While Doria set the pace, her teammates closed in with consistent splits, helping secure the overall 4th-place team finish against multiple strong programs.
Athena Seebald (27:45) ran well, finishing just two-spots and two seconds behind Doria for 19th place overall. Paulina Ostrander (21st – 30:24), Alana Dickson (24th – 32:08) and Emily Wilson (25th – 32:13) rounds out the team scoring as they all posted top-25 finishes to help the team secure a top-5 finish at the meet.
Hudson Valley will continue its fall campaign with the next meet on October 11th as they compete in the annual James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State, in Westfield, Mass.
