Women’s Cross Country Captures NJCAA Region 3 Championship

The Hudson Valley Community College women's cross country team dominated the field at the NJCAA Region 3 Championship on Saturday, finishing first overall and placing five runners inside the top seven to secure the regional title.
Brianna Doria led the way for the Vikings, claiming the individual Region 3 Championship with a time of 22:43.92. Right behind her was Athena Seebald, who finished second overall in 23:25.36, giving Hudson Valley a commanding start to the race.
The Vikings' impressive depth was on full display, as Talia Moore (5th, 26:04.93), Rebecca Church (6th, 26:05.07), and Alana Dickson (7th, 26:14.96) rounded out the top five for Hudson Valley. Emily Wilson (9th, 26:27.90) and Meghan Cowles (11th, 30:43.58) also contributed strong performances to solidify the team's dominant finish.
The Region 3 title marks another milestone in an exceptional season for the Vikings, who will now advance to the NJCAA Division III National Championship on Saturday, November 8th, where they'll look to build on their regional success at the national level.
